For the past 15 years she has primarily focused on Sales Performance Management (SPM) as a System Integration Partner for the top SPM software vendors, for the clients and as a top adviser to SPM vendors regarding Product Functionality and Service Offerings. Under Ms. Thakur’s leadership, Smart Tech Inc. helped more than 50 customers in selecting, designing, and implementing SPM tools. Smart Tech also offered End User services like Training, Change Management, and Testing Support in addition to Business Plan Design, Business Case Development, and Feasibility Analysis. Smart Tech has several Fortune 500 engagements that are almost a decade old and still going strong. Accountability and Quality in service are two primary assumed tenants in all Smart Tech service offerings.

As of 2020, Ms. Thakur has pivoted Smart Tech to also support Small Businesses, Entrepreneurs and Solopreneurs, as they struggle in this current crisis.

Smart Tech has expanded to provide additional offering like Social Media, Online Digitization and Virtualization of their Business Offerings.

Ritu has 10 years of experience in various senior management roles prior to establishing Smart Tech Inc. Her consulting engagements have included multiple industry verticals including Pharma, Tech, Financial Services, Education and Training, Telecommunication, and more.  She has a Master in English from India and a Masters in Information Systems (MIS) from the University of Houston.
